Training Coach

I’ve always loved sport ever since I could walk and am a self-confessed gym geek who enjoys reading scientific journals for fun. Whilst at university, I learned all about the science behind training and competing, and the finer details about how to improve as an athlete. Putting this into practice, I created my own training plans which lead to my discovery of powerlifting. I have represented team GB in Tokyo at the IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) World Bench Press Championship as well as Silver medal in the 2018 Senior British Classic.

I specialise in improving athletes’ movement mechanics whether that be on the platform performing the squat, bench and deadlift or in other sporting environments on the track or field.


Qualifications:

  • MSc Strength & Conditioning

  • BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer

  • UKSCA (ongoing)

Experience:

I’ve worked with many elite sportsmen and women from World Tour cyclists to GB cross country runners, rowers, cricketers, netballers, powerlifters, gymnasts and biathletes as well as everyday gym goers.

What you like most about being an Implexium coach:

I like how each plan has a personal touch rather than just being generic for everyone. We make each training plan from scratch and tailor them to each unique individual to pinpoint an athlete’s specific weakness and help them reach their goals in the best way for them.
